Enrichment is part of your learning experience

Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to enrichment activities for students. Enrichment is any activity that you take part in outside your academic course. These include:

• Freshers’ Fair in September to help you make friends and settle in to the College
• Sports - cricket, football, basketball, netball, skiing and archery
• Fitness - you can get a personal fitness plan and use the multi-gyms, aerobics and circuit training
• Self defence and assertiveness training
• Dance
• Outdoor pursuits
• Table tennis and pool
• Shopping trips to London, Liverpool and Manchester
• Live theatre shows at the College and visits to theatres
• Cultural or social events - Black History Month, Clothes Show Live, the Mega Mela at the NEC and other events
• Cinema trips
• Bowling trips.

There is also a wide range of UK trips and a variety of social events which are organised throughout the year e.g. trips to Blackpool, Alton Towers and Drayton Manor Park. Our Enrichment Programme gives you the opportunity to take part in enjoyable activities while learning new skills, for example sports coaching, volunteering, first aid or salsa dancing. You can collect your copy of the Enrichment Programme at reception in any of our campuses.

Eat, relax, exercise or pamper yourself whilst you study - you deserve it!

You can meet and chat in our Common Rooms, Cafeterias, Canteens or student restaurants throughout the day. If you fancy burning off the calories after you’ve eaten in Karibunis, our on-site student restaurant at Hall Green specialising in food from around the world, we have fully-equipped gyms, a women’s only gym, a weights room, sports hall and a G3 Astroturf pitch for you to use.

If you’re feeling competitive, or just want to meet your friends, you can chill out or play table tennis, pool or arcade games in our Common Rooms. You can also take advantage of our range of cost effective treatments from facials, body massages, nail extensions, colouring and hair conditioning treatments to a blow dry at our student Hair & Beauty Salon.
