Quality is the key to our success Ofsted Inspection Results
South Birmingham College was praised by inspectors in its last Ofsted Inspection in 2005. The report commented on the College’s:

The College is aiming to achieve an “outstanding” grade in its next Ofsted inspection.
Training Quality Standard (TQS)
South Birmingham College has been recognised as one of the best training providers in the country.
The College, which has campuses in Digbeth, Bordesley Green and Hall Green, has been awarded the Training Quality Standard (TQS) (Dec 2008), a kitemark awarded by the Learning and Skills Council – a government body.
The TQS is designed to recognise and celebrate the best organisations that provide high quality responsive training for employers in the areas of Health & Social Care, Childcare and Construction and is one of only a handful of training providers to have achieved excellence in three or more sector areas.
The TQS is rigorously assessed by an independent body and takes into account many aspects of the services the College provides, including feedback from employers who currently work with the College and have taken advantage of the training and business support services on offer.

We have been awarded Customer Service Excellence status, re-enforcing our excellence in customer service and the importance we place on student satisfaction.
