Are there any entry requirements?
There are no formal qualifications required to enrol on this course. However, students will be required to take part in a Literacy and Numeracy assessment. Students who are most successful on this course tend to be those who have lively and enquiring minds, are interested in Travel & Tourism and are willing to explore new ideas and communicate those ideas effectively.

What will I study?
This introductory course focuses on the basic skills and knowledge needed to work in the Travel & Tourism Industry. This course will appeal to you if you have a keen interest in Travel & Tourism and want to study a course that is active, enjoyable, and relevant to your own life and experience.

On successful completion of this course you will be equipped with the basic skills and knowledge necessary to find employment in the ever-expanding Travel & Tourism Industry e.g. jobs in travel companies. You could also progress onto higher level qualifications like the BTEC First Diploma: Travel & Tourism.
